Telenor users roam like home in 8 Asian countries

Telenor Myanmar has introduced a new data roaming promotion plan ‘ASIA 8’ for both prepaid and post-paid customers today. telenor roam like home

With the most affordable rate of 8 Kyat per MB (exclusive of tax), Telenor customers travelling or working in Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia and Taiwan can now stay connected on the internet with their friends, families and business partners.

Telenor’s subscribers in those countries are now able to browse the internet, being charged only 8 kyat for every MB they use, which is the same as local, and there is no subscription or activation needed to use this plan. The promotion plan is available starting from 3rd April 2018 until further notice.

The standard data rates in those 8 Asian countries normally start from Kyat 500 per MB depending on the destinations, and during this promotion period, Telenor customers will save up to 99.95%.

Growing international roaming network

With a growing list of available countries and roaming partners, Telenor makes it easy and affordable for all customers to stay connected when travelling, or with family and friends in other countries. Currently, Telenor Myanmar subscribers can use roaming services with 152 partners in 117 countries.

Telenor’s 4G roaming service is currently available in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, UAE, Canada, Macau, Taiwan, and Norway, and more countries will later be added on the list.
