With the launch of a special data roaming rate for its customers travelling or having a short stay in Japan, Telenor Myanmar has broadened its roaming promotion area. With this new affordable promotion named JAPANPASS, all Telenor prepaid and all-star post-paid subscribers can now stay connected on the internet with their friends, families and business partners with the special data roaming rate of 25 Ks per MB only (exclusive of tax) while they are in Japan.

Telenor customers will be able to enjoy this special promotion with the subscriptions fees of MMK 1,500 per week (inclusive of tax) which will valid for 7 calendar days. This promotion will not be compatible with other local operators and the customers will not need to register and swap with local tourist SIMs to enjoy this promotion.

The standard data roaming rate in Japan is MMK 2,500 per MB and during this promotion period, Telenor customers will be able to save up to 99%. This promotion plan is available starting from October 22, 2018 until further notice.
