With this new functionality, manageable from the Smart application, users will be protected anytime, anywhere, whenever they need it.
According to Ignacio Aller, commercial director of Movistar Prosegur Alarmas: “with the launch of ContiGo we continue to add our best capabilities in technology and security. We work to offer differential and high quality services within the alarm sector in Spain. The confidence we have in our proposal to the client is reflected in the fact that we are the only company that offers its services without registration cost, without permanence and with total and absolute transparency in the price. We will therefore continue to put the customer at the center of everything we do ”.
ContiGo has two functionalities. The first is the SOS Button that the client can activate, when he is away from home, if he needs help with any threat, risk or emergency situation. The second is the Countdown that offers the peace of mind of being able to make the journey while being always protected until the destination is reached.
ContiGo SOS Button: in a dangerous situation, the user presses the ContiGo SOS Button and immediately, from the Alarm Receiving Center (ARC), the emergency protocol is activated. This procedure consists of recording a video and audio clip from the moment the client presses the button. In addition, an operator from the CRA will contact the user to confirm the alarm. In case of not being able to establish communication with the client, the CRA will notify the emergency services (112) and the family members who have previously been designated as contact persons. If the SOS Button is activated by mistake, the user can enter a deactivation code.
Countdown ContiGo: The Countdown service provides greater security on trips away from home. To start the Countdown service from the Movistar Prosegur Alarmas application, the user indicates their destination and an arrival time. In the CRA the geolocation of the user is activated and the evolution of his route is checked. Once the time set by the user has expired or if he has reached his destination, he must enter the deactivation code to finish the countdown. If it has not confirmed its arrival at the destination, the ARC activates the emergency protocol that is similar to that of the SOS Button.
The use cases for ContiGo can be very diverse. In any situation in which the user may feel unsafe, such as, for example, if he goes out at night and returns home to areas with few people or low light. Its use is also suitable for both the elderly and the little ones, if they leave home unaccompanied. The Countdown service is also of great help for people who do outdoor sports such as running, cycling or hiking. telefonica alarm service
