This also applies to similar Freedom Young subscriptions for everyone under 30 years and mobile subscriptions for SMEs. This makes it easy for customers to use their smartphones and other smart devices on vacation just like at home in Switzerland – at no extra cost

Option or temporary subscription switch

With the Freedom swiss neighbors and Freedom europe & US mobile subscriptions and with the various roaming options, Sunrise covers the roaming needs of our Swiss customers in their favorite vacation destinations and beyond.

With the flexibility to switch Freedom mobile subscriptions, customers can choose between adding an option for their vacation or switching to Freedom swiss neighbors or Freedom europe & US. After their vacation, they can simply switch back to their previous Freedom mobile subscription. The higher subscription fee is billed on a pro-rated basis only.

travel day pass data

Sunrise introduced the travel day pass data option in March along with the new Freedom mobile subscriptions. With this option, customers get 100 MB of data roaming for CHF 1.90 for a 24-hour period in Europe, the US and Canada.

Customers incur charges only if they use data roaming. Once the included 100 MB data allotment is used up, data roaming is blocked, and customers can only continue to surf the web if they purchase an additional data package, such as 100 MB for CHF 1.90 or 2 GB for CHF 29.00.
