Install a few hours before your trip

Scan the QR code from your phone settings, and download and install the data plan. Activate it when you land at your destination; turn on data and roaming.

Installation via QR Code

1. Open the email containing the QR code or access your account.

2. Tap the QR code to install and add the eSIM. Or, if you prefer, scan the QR code with your device’s camera.

3. Tap ‘Enable eSIM’ and then ‘Continue’.

4. Select a label or enter a custom label for easy later use.

5. Choose the eSIM, enable the ‘Activate This Line’ option and turn on ‘Data Roaming’.

6. Select your eSIM as the default network for ‘Cellular Data’ and do not enable the ‘Allow Cellular Data Switching’ option.

Android

Installation via QR Code

Setting up Monica eSIM on Android

To set up Monica eSIM on your Android, you will need to be connected to the internet.

1. After making the purchase you will receive the QR code.

2. Access the QR code through your email or your account at monicaesim.com

3. Press the QR code until a menu appears

4. Open and click (or Connections, depending on your Android)

5. Click –Then click

6. The screen to the QR code will appear and below it an option

7. Then click on to enter the code we copied on the previous screen.

8. A field to enter the code will appear, and just press the field for a few seconds and the installation code.

The installation code starts with: LPA:1$ – this is the complete code that must be entered in the field

9. Then click and wait for the installation process, which can take from a few seconds to a few minutes.

10. After installation, a message will appear, so click

11. When you click , it will return to the previous screen, and then click and turn on

Done, the installation is complete.
