The system allows for flexible roaming agreements with international operator partners and offers better opportunities for controlling and maintaining the roaming partner agreements, while also preventing any misuse of roaming billing.
The new billing system delivered by Tecnotree will replace Nepal Telecom’s current system and it will be delivered to Nepal as a turnkey project. Tecnotree’s Wholesale Billing system is used by eighteen operators around the world; every day, it is used to process more than three billion call detail records (CDR), thereby helping operators to effectively utilise the interconnect and roaming billing generated by international calls and data transfer.
“We are extremely happy that our key customers continue to show their trust in Tecnotree as the partner for enabling their transformation journey. Tecnotree’s Roaming Billing-based Wholesale Billing system will help Nepal Telecom directly manage the roaming relationships with their strategic partners, thereby providing greater transparency and control”, says Padma Ravichander, CEO of Tecnotree.
