As a result of the abolishing of mobile roaming charges, outgoing traffic to international networks increased by 50 percent.
Compared to the 1st quarter of 2017, the total outgoing traffic from mobile networks increased by 4%. National outgoing traffic increased by 3% and outgoing traffic to international mobile networks by 41%.
Private users recorded 50% more outgoing mobile traffic to international networks (roaming).
There were over 2.4 million mobile network users in Slovenia
at the end of the first quarter, 2 percent more than the year before, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
7% more business users of Slovene mobile network
At the end of the 1st quarter of 2018 there were over 2.4 million mobile network users in Slovenia, which is 2% more than at the end of the 1st quarter of 2017. At the annual level the number of mobile business users increased by 7%.
A fifth less outgoing traffic within own fixed network
In the 1st quarter of 2018 outgoing fixed voice traffic decreased by 17% compared to the 1st quarter of 2017. Outgoing fixed traffic to other fixed networks decreased by 16%, within own fixed network by 22%, by business users by 26%.

Almost 683 million SMS messages were sent, which is about the same as in Q1 2017, while almost 21 million MMS messages were sent (+23%).
