The price of travel with non-cash payment will be 17 soms, which is a decrease from the current tariff of 20 soms. The price of travel with cash will remain at 20 soms.
The Bishkek City Council has said that the new tariff is necessary to cover the rising costs of operating public transport. The council also hopes that the new tariff will encourage more people to use non-cash payment methods.
The state mobile operator MEGA , taking care of the residents of the capital, announces a new social campaign for users of the MegaPay mobile application. When paying through the MEGA mobile application, travel on municipal transport will be, as before, 11 soms! The promotion is valid from January 30, 2024, to March 10, 2024.

Stickers with QR codes are placed both outside and inside municipal transport.
How to top up your Tulpar card:
- go to the “Services” section;
- click the “Tulpar” tab;
- select “Card replenishment”;
- scan the QR code on the Tulpar card;
- indicate the required amount and confirm the payment.

To pay for travel, you must attach your Tulpar payment card to a special reader. The fare will be debited automatically.
