In preparation for the busy summer travel season, Magenta Telekom Austria has announced a significant enhancement to its roaming offerings: starting immediately, all “Reisepakete” (travel data packages) — Internet Welt S through XL — now come with double the high-speed data for use abroad

What’s New?

• Automatic upgrade: All existing and new travel data packages (Internet Welt S, M, L, XL) automatically receive twice the data volume when used abroad — at no additional cost. 2 GB instead of 1 GB of data volume during the promotion, valid in 50 countries, such as Turkey, Serbia, Australia, Mexico, and many more (excluding ships, ferries, airplanes, and satellite connections), for €5.90 once for 30 days. The additional package ends automatically. Any unused free units expire at the end of the term. Promotion with double gigabytes valid until further notice. Double gigabytes are already included in the travel packages.
• Summer-ready: The change is part of the “Mit Magenta unbeschwert in den Sommer starten” (Relaxed summer with Magenta) campaign, launched June 23, 2025
