GoMo Creates App For Pre-Pay Roaming Fees

Customers who are traveling overseas, according to the operator, can use the app in conjuhttps://gomoworld.pxf.io/c/5315675/2007556/24792nction with the virtual eSIM that is included with many smartphones to connect to the “best available networks” and prevent unforeseen roaming fees.
Users download the app to activate their eSIM and select their planned destination before pre-purchasing their data roaming allowance.
Prices start from €4 for 2GB of data in the EU and Australia. GoMoWorld updates customers on their data usage, and the app also sends notifications before users hit their data caps.
Standard plans cost €20 for 20GB of data in the EU and Australia, 10GB in the US, and 5GB in Canada.
EU citizens travelling to other member states are charged for calls, texts and data usage at the same rates as they would under their mobile plan at home. The European Commission extended the Roam-like-at-home regulation to 2032 last July.
The regulation also set wholesale caps on mobile data, starting at €2 per GB in 2022 and falling to €1.10 by 2026. Wholesale caps will fall from €0.022 to €0.019 per minute for voice calls and from €0.004 to €0.003 for SMS from 2025.

Eir has c.1.2m mobile customers in Ireland, including 850,000 on bill pay plans and 342,000 on pay-as-you-go deals.
GoMo hit 300,000 customers in October 2021, two years after launching a lifetime offer of unlimited calls and texts and 80GB of data from €10 per month. The price then rose to €13 and then €15.
How to activate Roaming on: gomo roaming app
Google Pixel
In order to use your GoMoWorld plan on your Google Pixel device, you need to activate Roaming to allow you to connect abroad.
- First, go to Settings and click Network and Internet
- Select SIMs
- Click on the GoMoWorld eSIM
- Ensure that “Roaming” is activated as shown below.
Samsung
In order to use your GoPlan on your Samsung device, you need to activate Roaming to allow you to connect abroad.
– First, go to Settings and tap “Connections”
– Tap “Mobile Networks”
– Ensure that “Data Roaming” is activated as shown below.
