Elisa Estonia expands validity of its roaming data tickets
Mailiis Ploomann, Head of Elisa Telecommunications Services, said that the new geographic logic system was no longer able to add new countries, and therefore a new and more flexible system was created.
“The new and flexible ticketing system will make it easier to add countries in the future. Just changing names – prices and volumes remain the same for customers! ”
The names of the new Internet tickets are Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3, which offer daily, weekly and monthly tickets. One ticket can be used to access the Internet in all countries in the zone. For example, Zone 1 for daily, weekly, or monthly tickets can be used for the Internet in Latvia and Spain. Thus, it is not necessary to order a separate ticket for each country and when traveling, it is not necessary to worry about mobile internet even when visiting more than one foreign country.
From new destinations, Elisa’s online ticket is available, for example, in Egypt, mostly in South America and the Caribbean. In total, Elisa Internet Tickets can be used in 101 countries, covering all the destinations of Estonian dreams.
Internet tickets can be purchased from Elisa’s self-service or via an SMS link sent to the customer’s phone when abroad. In self-service, four options are displayed, ranging from one day, week, and month to volume-based billing. Tickets will take effect immediately after ordering. This means that the daily ticket is valid for 24 hours from the moment of activation, the weekly ticket for 168 hours, etc.
