Electroneum in Turkey

Digital payments eco-system Electroneum said its over 41,000 Electroneum crypto-currency users in Turkey can now top up Turkcell, Vodafone and Turk Telekom via third-party airtime and data provider. As in Brazil, Electroneum partnered with a third-party mobile top-up provider that purchases airtime and data in bulk from the three mobile network operators (MNOs) in the country and resells it to the public.

Electroneum enabled tens of thousands of ETN users in Turkey to instantly and easily top-up Turkcell, Vodafone, and Turk Telekom airtime and data via the Electroneum mobile app through a third-party provider.

Remittances in Turkey average circa US$200 million yearly and because money transfers are costly, the Turkish population could benefit from low-cost ETN’s global mobile payments function included in their app.

Over 25 million unbanked people in the country also stand to benefit from ETN because it is a cryptocurrency focused on enabling people to gain skills online and sell their skills.

Before the end of this year, Electroneum is on the path to launching its own eLearning and freelance platform that will allow users to learn, share and monetize their digital skills using ETN as payment.

The zero-fee platform will enable more than 1.7 billion unbanked people worldwide to access online digital learning for the very first time. All the while, people in developed economies will gain access to a new low-cost resource of highly motivated skilled people. Electroneum will enable sellers to place their digital skills and receive 100% of the proceeds. Electroneum crypto turkey
