A1 Bulgaria lowers roaming prices
A1 Bulgaria has announced plans to make roaming significantly more accessible to its private customers. Shortly before the start of the summer season, on April 26, the telecom will offer new roaming prices for the countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey, as well as for other countries outside the European Union and special roaming conditions for the UK after leaving the EU.
From the end of April, private customers of A1’s mobile service will be able to benefit from significantly better conditions than in the Western Balkans – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Serbia-Montenegro and Turkey. The new price per minute will be BGN 0.59 or 91% lower than the previous price per outgoing minute, and for megabytes of mobile internet the price will be BGN 0.99 or almost 96% lower compared to the current tariff for non-EU countries.
The telecom will reduce its roaming charges for other non-EU countries, which will allow freer communication for roaming customers. The new tariffs per minute will become BGN 2.99, which is over 57% reduction compared to the current price per outgoing minute and BGN 9.99 for megabytes of mobile internet or over 59% discount.
The company will update its roaming prices in the UK in connection with its exit from the EU. A1 will not apply tariffs to non-EU countries, the Western Balkans and Turkey, but will offer even more favorable and more favorable roaming conditions in the United Kingdom. Telecom customers will be able to talk for BGN 0.09 per minute and use mobile internet for BGN 0.01 per megabyte.
The new prices will take effect on April 26, 2022, and will be valid for private customers on the A1 mobile plan. Users with a plan with access to 5G ULTRA will be able to take advantage of the fifth-generation networks when they are outside Bulgaria if A1 has a roaming partner with 5G network in the country. a1 bulgaria roaming
