Optus Head of Strategic Projects, Vidur Rattan, said, “We’re excited to launch these new Add-Ons, which are perfect for travellers wanting to share their experiences with family and friends back at home. They’re also great for those wanting to make international calls from Australia.”

“We’ve heard from our customers who have informed us that they just want to relax when travelling overseas and use their phone worry-free, just like when they’re at home.”

“These new add-ons are great value and the data is very easy for our customers to manage, which can all be done via the My Optus App.” Mr Rattan said.

The new Optus prepaid Add-Ons offer customers the following features:

$5 International Talk – Includes up to 300 minutes of standard international talk to 50 selected destinations. 28-day expiry.

$20 Roam Data – Includes $210 value, equivalent to a massive 10GB to use in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, and the USA over 5 days. optus prepaid

Prepaid Offers:

  1. Epic Data: This prepaid plan offers unlimited standard talk and text within Australia and a large amount of data for browsing the internet, streaming music, and watching videos. Customers can choose between different data allowances ranging from 10GB to 100GB, and the plan includes unlimited data-free streaming of selected music and video services.
  2. Epic Value: This prepaid plan offers unlimited standard talk and text within Australia and a small amount of data for browsing the internet. Customers can choose between different data allowances ranging from 3GB to 25GB, and the plan includes data-free streaming of selected music services.
  3. Long Expiry: This prepaid plan is designed for customers who don’t use their phone frequently and want their credit to last longer. Customers can recharge their account with a small amount of credit, and it will last for up to 186 days.

Roaming Offers:

  1. Optus Travel™ Packs: These packs offer customers a set amount of data and calling minutes for use in selected countries. Customers can purchase packs for different regions, such as Asia or Europe, and the packs are valid for a set period of time.
  2. Pay-As-You-Go Roaming: Optus also offers a pay-as-you-go option for roaming, which means that customers pay for the data, calls, and texts they use at a set rate per minute or per MB. This option can be more expensive than purchasing a travel pack, but it may be more flexible for customers who don’t use their phone frequently while traveling.
  3. International Roaming Pass: This option allows customers to use their existing plan in selected countries for a set daily fee. Customers can choose between different passes that offer different amounts of data and calling minutes, and the passes are valid for a set period of time.

It’s important to note that prices and packages are subject to change, so it’s always a good idea to check the latest offers and prices before traveling or purchasing a prepaid plan.
