The app includes the full range of fares including; one run, daily, 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours passes, for both adults and children and also removes the need to visit a travel shop to purchase a ticket. The application is today available in English but will soon also be launched in Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese. It can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play.

The new service is using Masabi’s Justride ticketing platform, along with the Justride Inspect App for ticket checking onboard and the Justride Hub, a secure cloud-based back office providing real-time data, reporting and analytics, as well as customer service tools.

Masabi is the global pioneer for transit mobile ticketing and with over 50 clients across 4 continents, the Justride Mobility Platform is the most widely deployed end-to-end mobile and account-based ticketing solution in operation, serving customers of all sizes, from the largest agency in the USA to the smallest bus operators.

“We are thrilled to be launching this new innovative service for our users. By making buying a ticket and seeing the historic sights of Rome easier and more convenient we hope to make people’s experiences when riding on one of our iconic buses even more enjoyable,” said Alessandro Massari CEO PrestigeItalia.

“Mobile ticketing offers the tour bus sector a speedy and cost-efficient route to modernization that can be easily implemented without disrupting services with lengthy installation or training processes,” said Brian Zanghi, CEO of Masabi. “Working with Prestige, we are bringing Justride to the Italian market for the first time, delivering a solution trusted by users the world over that makes paying to ride on a bus simple and hassle-free.”
