In 2015 and 2016 Italy took 1st place, but despite Italy being still a popular destination, it has had to thank the 2nd place for the last two years. This summer, Italy was the destination of 14 percent. of Danish holiday stays.
The Swedish neighbors have been number four for the past two years, and the country has pushed France into a place.
