With the new Gift Card service, Turkish Airlines guests will be able to gift their loved one’s gift cards filled with flights which are prepared for 10 different concepts such as New Year, Birthdays, Mother’s Day and more. With this new service, the goal is to enrich the travel experience, contribute to the innovative and digital airline approach and add value to the brand image.

On the new gift cards, Turkish Airlines Chief Marketing Officer Ahmet Olmuştur stated: “We are working to offer distinguished services for our guests in every stage of their travels and develop new service models. With this new Gift Card service, our guests will be able to gift their loved one’s flights to all over the world with Turkish Airlines privilege. We hope that this new project will be met with the satisfaction of our passengers from 129 countries our extensive flight network serves.” 

Following the Individual Gift Card, Turkish AirIines will also offer Corporate Gift Cards for companies to present them the option to give their employees, customers and business partners a prepaid card that can be used for purchasing flights from Turkish Airlines as incentives or rewards. Additionally, Compensation Gift Card will also be offered to our guests to compensate them for the mishaps during their travels.

Turkish Airlines Gift Card Terms & Conditions

General 

• Turkish AirIines Gift Card will be activated 72 hours after the time of purchase.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card is only sold on the Turkish Airlines website and mobile application.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card validity period is two years from the date of purchase. The balance that is not used within the period is non-refundable and no rights can be claimed regarding this balance.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card is not a credit or debit card. It is valid only for products and services determined by Turkish Airlines.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card is not personal. It can also be used on behalf of another person you wish.
• When the balance of the Turkish AirIines Gift Card is exhausted, it cannot be reloaded.
• There is no monthly or annual maintenance fee for Turkish Airlines Gift Card.

Purchase 

• Turkish AirIines Gift Card can only be purchased in TRY, EUR, USD.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card can be purchased at the amounts determined by Turkish Airlines. (TRY 100-5000, USD/EUR 50-1000)
• A card number and pin number are generated as a result of purchasing a Turkish AirIines Gift Card. The created card and pin number is transmitted only to the receiver. The recipient accesses the card information via the link in the notification e-mail/SMS.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card can be sent by adding a personal message with special day themes determined by Turkish Airlines. (Birthday, Mother’s Day, Congratulations, etc.)
• No invoice is issued at the time of purchasing a Turkish AirIines Gift Card. The financial e-ticket generated after the services to be purchased with the Turkish AirIines Gift Card replaces the invoice.
• Turkish Airlines is not responsible for gift cards that cannot be delivered as a result of incorrect information entered during the purchase process.
• Purchased Turkish AirIines Gift Card cannot be returned or exchanged for its cash value.

Card Usage

• Turkish AirIines Gift Card can only be used for ticketing transactions.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card can only be used for Turkish Airlines tickets to be purchased through the Turkish Airlines website, mobile application and call center (444 0 849).
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card cannot be used for tickets that include flights operated entirely by AnadoluJet.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card cannot be used for codeshare flights.
• Ticketing transactions to be made with the Turkish AirIines Gift Card can only be made in the currency of the balance in the card.
• Only one Gift Card can be used at a time when purchasing a ticket with a Turkish Airlines Gift Card.
• If the balance of the Turkish AirIines Gift Card is more than the ticket amount, the remaining balance is kept in the same card. The remaining amount cannot be claimed as a refund in any way.
• If the balance in the Turkish AirIines Gift Card is not sufficient for the entire payment transaction, the missing amount can be paid by debit or credit card.
• The balance in the card cannot be used partially in the payment to be made with the Turkish AirIines Gift Card.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card cannot be used for additional services other than Turkish AirIines tickets, Miles&Smiles award tickets and other product/service purchases.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card cannot be used at airport ticket offices or through travel agencies.

Cancellation & Refund & Change 

• Tickets purchased with a Turkish AirIines Gift Card are subject to the Turkish Airlines Contract of Carriage (including change penalties).
• Refunds (after applicable fees or penalties) of tickets purchased with a Turkish AirIines Gift Card are provided in accordance with Turkish Airlines’ policy on refunds. The refund amount will be transferred to the cards used during the purchase.
• Turkish AirIines Gift Card cannot be used in case of additional payment need for a ticket change and refund transactions.
