The BNP Paribas affiliate has launched a Visa Infinite biometric card that is supplied with a small black ‘registration reader’ box that enables customers to record two of their fingerprints and link them to the card. Customers can then authenticate transactions by placing one of their registered fingerprints on the card’s fingerprint sensor.

The Visa Infinite Biometric* card is a withdrawal and payment card for national and international use from the prestigious Visa Infinite range. A fingerprint sensor is integrated to replace the PIN code on the TPE. Just put your finger on the card at the time of the transaction.

The Visa Infinite Biometric card allows the use of two fingerprints for biometric control based on strong authentication at the time of the transaction.

In addition, thanks to biometric authentication, contactless transactions (< 600 dhs) by this card become unlimited. All other characteristics of the card remain identical to those of an Infinite Standard card.

HOW TO USE YOUR FINGERPRINT TO MAKE PAYMENTS?

As soon as your fingerprints are locked, you can use one of them to carry out payment transactions on TPE.

It will suffice to place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor by inserting the card into the TPE after entry of the amount by the merchant for transactions in contact mode or by approaching the card from the TPE (3 to 4 centimeters) after entering the amount by the merchant for contactless transactions.
