Robi introduces special international data roaming

Under the offer, Bangladeshi travelers visiting India, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia will now be able to avail of a daily unlimited data plan for just Taka 99, according to a press release today.

The three-month-long campaign started on August 17.

Existing and new postpaid roaming customers under any other roaming plans can migrate to this plan by dialing *123*8*2*3# or by requesting a Robi Walk-In-Centre agent. Voice and SMS rates for India, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia will remain unchanged.

Customers can dial *123*100*11# to learn about their roaming subscription and plan status. The offer is on auto-renewal, and the charges will only be applicable based on usage abroad.

How To Activate Robi Roaming

To activate Robi Roaming:

    • Fill up the form( Prepaid or Postpaid ). Here is a Sample filled-up form
    • Arrange the required documents:
      — Credit card on both sides (a back-part signature is mandatory). US dollar endorsement should be done for the SAARC portion
      — Passport copy of ‘Personal Information’ and ‘Dollar Endorsement’ page.
      — For corporate customers: The customer needs to fill out the Authorization for Corporate/Organization subscriber portion of the IR subscription form, ensuring KAM/ERM is aligned

Robi is the second-largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh, with 46.88 million subscribers as of the end of December 2018. The company commenced operation in 1997 as Telekom Malaysia International (Bangladesh) with the brand name ‘Aktel’.
