Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom, announced that it has concluded new roaming agreements that will allow Zain Bahrain customers to enjoy Global Data Roaming add-ons with the most extensive coverage worldwide.

With the recent roaming coverage extension to include Azerbaijan, Tunisia and Kazakhstan, the roaming add-ons are now available for Zain Bahrain’s customers in 84 countries with 125 roaming partners.

Zain Bahrain roaming add-ons are available with different data allowances and validity options starting from BD 5 and up to 1-month validity, which are designed to allow customers to stay connected while traveling.

Customers who subscribe to one of the roaming add-ons can use data roaming with peace of mind, as Zain has implemented multiple controls to ensure that customers are not charged any extra charges. These controls include that the mobile will automatically only select the networks included in the roaming add-on, and if the user manually selects a network that is not part of the partner’s list then the data roaming will not connect and no usage will be possible.

Further, once the data allowance has been consumed, a notification is sent, and the data roaming will be stopped. These measures will ensure our customers have peace of mind and enjoy their mobile services without going through the hassle of purchasing a new mobile service in each country they visit.
