Vodafone Germany offers OneNumber with eSIM on new smartwatches

Vodafone Germany said it is offering the OneNumber tariff as an eSIM in combination with smartwatches from Montblanc and Oppo.

The smartwatches use the phone number and data of the connected smartphone. Thanks to the integration of the ordering process the WearOS on the watches, the activation of the tariff can be completed in minutes. Vodafone supports exclusively WearOS with a digital activation directly on the smartwatches from Montblanc and Oppo.

Montblanc offers the Summit 2+ smartwatch for EUR 1,140, while the Oppo watch 46 mm LTE will be available from mid-October in the Vodafone store on Amazon for EUR 399. OneNumber is available in three versions for EUR 5 per month each: as a physical plastic card, as an eSIM in the form of a letter with a QR code, and as a digital eSIM. Customers who subscribe to the OneNumber tariff by September 30 will receive the additional card free of charge for the first three months.

Watches manufactured by Apple and Samsung are also eSIM-capable and already support Vodafone’s digital ordering and activation process.

With Vodafone OneNumber, you can use your mobile phone number and your data volume not only with your smartphone but also with other devices such as your smartwatch, sports, running, and fitness watch, or your smart speaker.

With the Vodafone OneNumber MultiSIM, an additional card for your Internet-enabled devices. Depending on the device as a real SIM card, eSIM card, or completely without SIM. So you stay seamlessly connected on all devices, even without a smartphone. Vodafone OneNumber makes it possible to have two to three SIM cards, one number.
