The use of national offers in European Union countries without extra charge is permitted during occasional trips and in compliance with the parameters set out in the Regulations.
Recall that from June 15, 2017, rechargeable Vodafone customers will benefit from the new European regulation “Roaming Like at Home”. All consumer (rechargeable and subscription) and business (Iva and PMI) customers can then use their national tariff in the European Union countries at no additional cost, subject to the conditions set out in European Regulation 2016/2286. The cost of package deals, call charges, calls, SMS, and additional Giga will be exactly as in Italy.
All minutes and SMS included in the offer can also be used in the European Union. But for GB there are limitations.
Vodafone subscribers RED and rechargeable Start, Digital, Super, and Junior subscribers can use all of the data included in their offer also in the European Union. For all other deals, including many Vodafone Specials (for example, Vodafone Special 7GB and Vodafone Special 10GB), the amount of data to be used in Europe will depend on the monthly expense (bundle cost + possible additional option cost) in Italy by customers to navigate.
The formula for calculating the giga is available:
(Cost of the offer (net of VAT) /7.88) * 2

Here is an example: if you have a Vodafone Special 10GB offer at 10 euros every 4 weeks. The net present value of the current VAT is € 8.20. For a fast calculation, it divides to 3.94. The result is 2.08. So in Europe you can use 2.1 GB if you do not want to spend more than your monthly spending in Italy.
The countries included in the new “Roaming Like at Home” tariff are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Guadeloupe, Saint Martin, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, Reunion, Azores, Madeira, Gibraltar, and Islands Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Faroe Islands, and Man Island.
In Switzerland, Turkey, Albania, the Principality of Monaco, and San Marino, the current foreign tariffs will continue to be valid.
