“…we would like to add free-roaming to our visa-free regime, which almost three million Ukrainians have used. It is something all European states enjoy and something the Ukrainians miss. You can see for yourself how high the prices are as soon as we cross the border with Ukraine. We would like the Ukrainians to have free crossing and free communications,” Prystaiko said.
He added that Ukraine adopted the necessary laws for the implementation of the so-called ‘industrial visa-free regime,” within which Ukrainian companies would be able to supply goods to EU countries on simplified procedures.
The Foreign Minister reminded us that 62% of Ukrainian exports go to a 500-million EU market.
In a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Japan for its support and consideration of the visa-free regime.
