TIM EU roaming: GB number increases and the consumption rate decreases
Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced an improvement in the conditions for roaming in the European Union ahead of the 01 January 2020 deadline for applying the changes.
As a Christmas gift to customers due to travel in Europe this festive season, the company said the amount of data available under the ‘roam-like-at-home’ rules will increase on 25 November, over a month ahead of schedule.

For customers with offers that provide unlimited traffic for Social, Video, Chat, Music and Games services , the maximum data roaming traffic in EU countries will be further increased : Social 6 GB more; Video 5 GB more; Chat 600 GB more; Music 500 GB more; 100 GB games more.
TIM EU roaming also anticipates, starting from November 25, 2019, the reduction in the consumption rate that is applied if the quantity of GB that can be used in the European Union is exceeded : in fact, from that date, the rate will be reduced from 0.549 euro cents per MB (including VAT) to 0.416 euro cents per MB (including VAT) .
