Telemach Hrvatska opens 5G network to over 100 operators for summer 2023

Users from more than 100 foreign telecom operators, many of whom are tourists visiting Croatia this summer, will be able to seamlessly connect to Telemach’s 5G network, covering the entire coast, islands, and all larger inhabited places throughout Croatia. These are the partnerships that Telemach Croatia has established with telecom operators from more than 50 countries around the world, including countries from the European Economic Area (EEA), which includes EU countries as well as Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and partnerships have been realized in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Worldwide 5G roaming partners in Telemach 5G network
The same model applies to Telemach users in Croatia who will be able to connect to the 5G networks of partner operators in more than the aforementioned 50 countries and surf quickly and qualitatively without additional costs, provided they have a 5G phone and 5G is available in the partner network at the location where the user is located. Outside the European area, Telemach’s 5G roaming partners are also located in countries on other continents, including the USA, Canada, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, etc.

This summer, many private landlords, hotels, caterers and many other service providers will be able to provide a better stay for our tourists with fast internet, better connectivity and the possibility of uninterrupted enjoyment in all digital content and amenities they need”, emphasizes the board member for technical affairs at Telemach, Danijela Bistrički Morović. She adds that these data show significant shifts in the coverage and quality of Telemach’s mobile network, thanks to a €226 million investment plan for the fixed and mobile network over a five-year period.
