Telekom Slovenije H1 results fall on price pressure and the EU roaming regulation

The Telekom Slovenije Group generated EUR 363 million in operating revenues during the first six months of this year, which was 1% more than planned. Due to EU regulations, the Telekom Slovenije Group is faced with higher operating costs and lower revenues on the mobile segment of the end-user market. The company said price pressure and the EU roaming regulation led to a drop in mobile revenues that offset growth in the fixed market.
EBITDA fell 6 percent to EUR 100.9 million, giving a margin of 28.0 percent, and EBIT dropped 33 percent to EUR 16.8 million. Net profit fell 40 percent to EUR 14.5 million.
