Cheaper internet – in Lithuanians’ favorite destinations

Among the countries where significantly more attractive data package prices will now apply are Tunisia, Maldives, Morocco, as well as distant New Zealand, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, and many others.

In total, Tele2 already offers cheaper data packages in more than 70 countries around the world.

Previously, in many of these countries, data packages were not available at all, so each megabyte was charged at standard rates.

Travelers will now be able to choose the option that suits them best: a 1 GB package for a week or 3 GB and 10 GB packages for a month, depending on individual needs and the duration of their trip, and thus pay less. In some countries where only a 1 GB plan was previously available, larger options are now available.

The operator also offers internet data packages at a good price to business customers. This is especially relevant for companies that have branches in several countries or whose employees have to travel a lot for work.

To avoid overpaying for internet in distant countries, it is recommended to order a special data package immediately upon arrival. Otherwise, you will have to pay for the data used at standard rates.

Before every trip to a non-EU country, it is worth checking what data packages and prices are valid in that particular country. You should also check your available credit limit and increase it, if necessary, at least for the duration of the trip.
