Tele2 Estonia extends unlimited packs to Nordic, EU, Russia communications
According to Ines Estrin, Marketing Director of Tele2, the two main values of Tele2 are unlimitedness and freedom, based on which the content of new packages has also been designed. “As humans, we have had to significantly reshape our habits over the past year – many of us have only heard the voices of our loved ones over the phone or over the Internet,” explained Estrin. “This trend is also clear in user analysis – that is why we want to offer the best unlimited solutions on the market with a reasonable price-quality ratio. In addition, we can see from our usage analytics that people are increasingly using the Internet – especially from mobile devices. Based on the last few years, the average consumer uses the Internet half as much, while consumption has also increased abroad. People value the freedom that comes with an unlimited package. ”
As there is much less physical meeting with friends and relatives living abroad, the new packages can also keep unlimited contact with neighboring countries. For example, as a new and unique opportunity on the market, Tele2 now offers unlimited packages to Russia for both private and business customers. “Almost 80% of all international calls in the Tele2 network are made in the direction of Russia, and every tenth Russian-speaking user calls in that direction,” Estrin opens. “So far, the use of internet volume in Russia has been low due to high roaming tariffs. We created the new packages “Unlimited in Northern Europe + Russia” and “Unlimited Business in Northern Europe + Russia” just so that our customers can communicate without worrying even in Russia. “Based on the needs of our customers, the new selection includes several more unique region-based packages – with Baltic, Nordic and European directions,
Tele2’s Marketing Director emphasizes that Tele2 considers it important to continue to offer its customers the best price on the market for unlimited packages. Compared to competitors, the price level of Tele2 packages is consistently the most favorable – for example, a comparison of both private and business customer packages across the Baltics shows that if Tele2 offers a package for 25 euros per month, then competitors for 29 and 35 euros. Estrin emphasizes that all new packages include unlimited data speeds, call minutes and the number of text messages, but differ in terms of data volume. “Simplicity and comprehensibility are at the heart of Tele2 packages – the monthly fees of the package do not hide additional services or maintenance fees that the customer does not actually need or use,” he confirms.
The company emphasizes that all old packages will remain in force, but new contracts with the old terms will no longer be formalized. If desired, all customers can switch to new packages free of charge – for this purpose, it is worth reviewing your package in a self-service or representative office and finding the most suitable solution based on your needs and habits.
Tele2’s private customer selection includes new call packages “Unlimited in the Baltics”, “Unlimited in the Nordic countries”, “Unlimited in the Nordic countries + Russia”, “Unlimited in Europe”, “Freedom 15”, “Freedom 3 + Russia”, “Freedom 3”. The selection of business customer packages includes “Unlimited Business in the Baltics”, “Unlimited Business in Northern Europe”, “Unlimited Business in Northern Europe + Russia”, “Unlimited Business in Europe”, “Unlimited Business 15”, “Unlimited Business 3”.
