TalkTalk has been rolling roaming rates since May 1st. The data packages for Switzerland can now also be used in the EU, USA, Canada, Norway and Liechtenstein. The data packages now cost the same amount in the countries mentioned, as in Switzerland.

For the subscriptions “à la carte Plus”, “Swiss select”, “Swiss all-in” and the new “TalkTalk 20”, the standard tariff for data roaming in the EU, USA, Canada, Norway and Liechtenstein has been abolished. New is the inclusive data volume, which could previously only be used within Switzerland, also usable in the mentioned countries. If the volume of data contained in the subscription is used up, the traffic is blocked. Resuming works only if a data package called “Data Booster” is activated via SMS. This is valid until the end of the billing period. What is new is that these “data boosters” can now also be used in the countries mentioned – at the same prices as in Switzerland. In addition, two larger “Data Boosters” with 10 and 100 GB were launched.

The following Data Boosters are currently available:

500 MB for CHF 5.-
1 GB for CHF 10.-
3 GB for CHF 30.-
5 GB for CHF 45.-
10 GB for CHF 60.-
100 GB for CHF 90. –

As already described, these data packages and prices are valid in the EU, USA, Canada, Norway and Liechtenstein.
The “Data Boosters” can be activated by SMS with the text eg “Start DATA1GB” to the number 361.

The new «TalkTalk 20»

For the anniversary of 20 years, the new subscription «TalkTalk 20» was launched. It costs CHF 19.95 per month. It offers unlimited calls within Switzerland, as well as to the countries of the EU, USA, Canada, Norway and Liechtenstein. SMS are included from Switzerland to all countries unlimited. The data volume is limited to 1 GB per month. If it is used up, the traffic is blocked. TalkTalk 20 is compatible with the data booster mentioned above.

The previous subscriptions “Swiss & Travel” and “Swiss & Travel Plus” were taken out of the assortment. The subscriptions “à la carte”, “à la carte plus”, “Swiss select”, “Swiss all-in” and the new “TalkTalk 20” are still available.
