Sunrise is launching “Swiss Connect” the new mobile plan portfolio for residential customers and SMEs. Travel among the Swiss population is virtually back to pre-coronavirus levels. Roaming services are becoming increasingly important: all Swiss Connect plans include roaming services.

What’s more, Sunrise is launching “Travel East”, a unique offer for new customers and a loyalty reward for existing customers who regularly visit and have contacts in the Balkan region.

New and only from Sunrise: Roaming included in all Swiss Connect plans

Smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, trackers and other devices are daily companions that support our digital lives. Seamless connections for mobile communication are a must. The same applies to connections while abroad. Sunrise is the only provider in Switzerland to include roaming credit with all Swiss Connect mobile plans. If the customer chooses a plan that includes limited roaming, the previous roaming packages are available to top up once the included services have been used up.

With the included roaming services, Swiss Connect Mobile focuses on the European zone as well as the USA and Canada. Sunrise is also launching a new offer for customers with a requirement for roaming in the Balkan region: “Travel East” is the new mobile plan that includes roaming for neighboring countries as well as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia ,and Serbia.

Seamless, fast connections are also very important in Switzerland. Data usage continues to grow steadily. This is why the Swiss Connect plans offer unlimited data with full 5G speed (except the Swiss Connect Lite entry-level offer).

New and existing customers are now rewarded equally

The tried-and-tested combo benefits have been strengthening customer loyalty with great success for many years. Now, Sunrise is going one step further by adding a long-term price promise to its tried-and-tested combo benefits: Both new and existing customers who opt for a Swiss Connect mobile plan essentially benefit from the same advantages, either by getting the new-customer price or paying the loyalty price. Customers who combine several Swiss Connect mobile plans or a landline Internet plan with a Swiss Connect plan on a single bill keep benefiting from attractive price advantages. Even if customers only have one mobile plan, they save: After the minimum term has expired, the loyalty price, reduced by CHF 20.–, will apply automatically, without customers having to do anything themselves.

Convenience instead of chasing passwords

The Swiss Connect portfolio is advertised with a focus on roaming. In a TV commercial, a traveller is desperately trying to get an Internet connection abroad via hotel Wi-Fi. As she’s doing this, she senses what would be really convenient: a mobile plan with roaming included. On this occasion, she meets Sunrise brand ambassador Roger Federer at the reception desk in a hotel while she’s trying to find out the password she needs.
