Síminn is regarded as one of the country’s most reliable companies, affecting the daily lives of all Icelanders. Siminn said it will change the prices of several products and update the terms. More about Siminn roaming news find out below.

On 1 May 2022, Siminn will change the prices of several products as well as update the terms.

From 1 September 2022, the United Kingdom and Gibraltar will not be part of Roam like Home. The United Kingdom and Gibraltar will then be part of the Travel Package and a general price list will apply to roaming charges in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar.

Mobile Phone plans changes

Subscriptions of 1GB, 50GB, 100GB and 150GB will increase by ISK 100. Family cards will increase by ISK 300 and Data cards by ISK 150. ‍ Internet subscriptions ‍and Fixed IP number on mobile phone number will increase by 300 ISK.

TV plans changes

‍The rental of a video key for Síminn’s television service will increase by ISK 100. and therefore cost ISK 1,300. after the change.
The price of subscription packages from Sýn purchased through Siminn will increase in price. An overview of these changes can be seen here .

Home cab siminn roaming

The local loop local charge increases by ISK 60. and will therefore cost ISK 3,650. instead of ISK 3,590 before.

CHANGES TO TERMS

‍General terms for invoices from Siminn will be updated on 1 May 2022.
Article 2.3 will be updated and will take into account that Siminn will only send electronic invoices from 31 May 2022 for the benefit of the environment and in accordance with Siminn’s sustainability policy. You can see the change in the terms, how they are now and how they will be after the change here. siminn roaming
