Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives introduced eSIM services in Maldives. Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed and Ooredoo Maldives’ CEO Najib Khan launched the brand new eSIM services at a special event held at Dharubaaruge convention centre.

According to Ooredoo, eSIM card replaces the currently used plastic SIM card with a virtually embedded equivalent, which enables customers to integrate up to nine different numbers on a single device.

The eSIM is available for prepaid, postpaid and tourist plan customers with a compatible phone, including iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR and Google Pixel 3.
