Netia includes roaming in the offer for new subscribers
Polish operator Netia has introduced tariffs that incur EU roaming surcharges after regulator UKE approved the surcharges in autumn 2017. After the introduction of the EU roaming regulation Roam-Like-At-Home (RLAH) in mid-June 2017, the operator ceased offering international roaming.
Following the regulator’s approval of the surcharges, Netia brought back roaming offers in March.
In the second half of last year, we introduced a number of new, very attractive tariffs that have made the development of the Netia Mobile subscriber base more dynamic, despite the lack of international roaming. At the end of 2017, Netia Mobile was the third most popular brand in terms of the positive balance of number portability– said Tomasz Dakowski, Member of the Board, General Director of B2C Area in Netia.
After using the packets of minutes of SMSes, MMS and packets for using data transmission in the EU, based on the Detailed Promotion Terms, charges for different types of international roaming services will be charged in the amount of:
- PLN 0.16 gross per minute of an outgoing call;
- 0.05 PLN gross per minute of incoming call;
- 0.05 PLN gross for SMS;
- PLN 0.03 gross for MMS;
- PLN 0.03 gross for 1 MB of data transmission.
Netia Mobile subscribers who between June 15, 2017 and February 28, 2018 have concluded or extended a contract for Netia Mobile services, may submit an instruction to launch an international roaming service by contacting the Customer Service Department.
