Lifecell offers free roaming services in Iran
The offer comes after the crash of an Ukrainian passenger aircraft on January 8, 2020, in Tehran and amid plans of the Ukrainian national airline to suspend its flights to Iran.Â
As part of the Cross-Border Care program, lifecell provided free-of-charge services to its subscribers heading to Iran: 20 minutes free of charge for voice calls within their country of residence and to Ukraine.
For the sixth consecutive year, Lifecell has been implementing a social project to support its roaming subscribers in countries where emergencies, natural disasters, or terrorist attacks occur. In July 2016, Lifecell signed a Memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in which it continues to assist citizens of Ukraine who find themselves in a difficult situation abroad as a result of an emergency.
Calls to 24/7 MFA Hotline +38044 238 1657 (Emergency MFA) from any country are not charged for lifecell subscribers.
Please note that packages at the basic tariffs are valid until the end of the day (until 23:59:59 by Kyiv time).
