Lifecell adds 6 countries to LTE roaming list

Ukrainian mobile operator Lifecell has started providing its LTE roaming services in six more states, namely Italy, Portugal, Latvia, the US, Finland and Kazakhstan. LIFECELL LTE roaming

LTE services from Lifecell are now available in 40 countries globally. The list includes numerous EU states.

HOW TO USE LIFECELL LTE roaming:

To use the LTE roaming service you need:

a phone that supports 4G/LTE
a SIM card that supports 4G/LTE (USIM)
to select the mobile operator in the phone menu according to the table below.

To check if your phone and SIM card support 4G/LTE, enter a code *455# or dial 2455 for free (for Lifecell subscribers only). LIFECELL LTE roaming

HOW TO ORDER

You do not need to order the service. It is enough to make sure that your phone and SIM card support 4G/LTE technology, and to select the mobile operator in the phone menu according to the table below.

“LTE roaming” service is valid only in the listed countries and mobile networks and is not available in the other countries and in the other mobile networks abroad. The obligatory condition for using of “LTE roaming” service is selection of the right mobile operator manually through the phone menu under the host country indicated in the table.

The specific of LTE technology is that your devise always stay connected with the network even if data in menu of your devise is turned off so there might be some traffic and charge as well. For the comfort using of 4.5G Internet within Ukraine or 4G abroad it is enough to have package of service with Internet including. If you do not plan to use this service, you can switch to 2G/3G network in menu of your devise and turned-off data.
