The end of roaming between Latin American countries?
It takes 10 years and some other stratagems to end roaming between European Union countries. Since last June 15th Europeans do not have to think about how much they roaming bill will be with high  (except few exceptions).latin america roaming
And now that the Europeans have already forgotten about roaming, we turn our eyes towards Latin America. What happens there? Is the end of roaming near the region? The situation is very different from that of Europe, with some approximations in preparation but limited to certain countries, since there is not as strong a union of countries (nations) as the one on this side of the pond.
Movements in Latin America in search of an end to roaming are underway, despite the fact that the essential problem is that there is no common working group in which all countries (nations) are included in the south of the United States. On the one hand, the countries (nations) of the Andean Community (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador (country) and Peru) will soon present a project that could lead to the end of roaming (with conditions) .
In parallel, the countries of the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia, Mexico (country) and Peru) also work in a similar way. Juan Manuel Santos, president of Colombia, said that there was a project to make roaming free between the four countries, which depended on the operators of the four countries. Agreement between private companies has not yet arrived.
A long way to go
Given the work already under way, the agreement that Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador (country) and Peru work with is the closest thing to the end of roaming in Europe that can soon be given in Latin America. Equally, it seems that there is the possibility that one day there will be an agreement that will include countries as outstanding in the region as Mexico, Brazil (country) or Argentina.
It seems almost unattainable that Latin America one day counts on the free roaming of which already is enjoyed in Europe
At the moment, the inhabitants of these countries (nations) depend on the will of the operators themselves, despite the fact that in that sense there has been progress in recent years. For example, in Mexico (country) it is usual for operators to offer free roaming with the United States, meanwhile in Argentina (country) different packages are offered to reduce roaming with other countries (nations) in the region.
