Kyivstar expands Roam-Like-Home option

Ukrainian operator Kyivstar announced that the Roam-Like-Home option from the operator will become available in Malta on June 20. The option allows customers to use voice and data services from the operator when abroad in Europe at the same price as in Ukraine. Thus, roaming like at home will be available in 28 countries around the world.

Kyivstar works to provide subscribers with the same services in Ukraine and in the countries of the European Union under the terms of roaming as at home.

Countries besides Malta are Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Hungary, France, Austria, Italy, Moldova, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Ireland, Slovenia, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Latvia, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Luxembourg, and Greece.

Connect 1GB, 2GB, 5GB and 10GB bundles to use in 28 countries. These additional packages can be ordered only if your tariff includes Roaming as at home.

Important: additional packages can be connected only if your tariff includes roaming like at-home

In Germany and the Czech Republic, if the smartphone or SIM does not support 4G, the Internet will work at 2G speed. There may also be difficulties with online registration.

Because of this, we advise you to pay attention to this before traveling abroad. If you are already abroad with a SIM card that does not support 4G, we recommend that you activate an eSIM – this is a virtual SIM card that, once activated, completely replaces the physical SIM.
