Before the critical match, in which the Croatian national team ensures the continuation of the competition at the EURO, fans throughout Croatia achieved historic success and recorded the longest fan song in the world, over nine hours long, at the Virtual Stadium, a digital platform of Hrvatski Telekom.

More than 8,400 fans from all over Croatia directly took part in creating the longest fan song. They registered at the Virtual Stadium and took part in creating various creative footages of cheering to the unofficial fan anthem “Play, my Croatia”. Most fans signed up from Zagreb, and it was those recordings that gathered more than nine thousand likes and shares. Fans from Istria and Kvarner and central Croatia follow with almost two thousand likes and shares.

We are proud that the Virtual Stadium of Hrvatski Telekom has enabled our fans throughout Croatia and of all ages, from kindergarten and school children to retirees, to create the cheering atmosphere we were used to before the pandemic. The VirtuaI Stadium has once again shown that, when it comes to cheering and supporting our Vatreni, we are beyond compare“, said Branka Bajt, brand director of Hrvatski Telekom.

The Virtual Stadium continues to follow our national team. All the recordings that arrive during their performance at the EURO will be included in the longest fan song in the world, which will thus be further extended and make the success of this historic fan venture even more remarkable.
