Manet to power concierge app with Truphone’s eSIM
The Manet device revolutionises the in-room hotel phone, equipping it with countless features and extending its capability to solve any guests’ needs. In using Truphone Connect – Truphone’s cutting-edge platform for enabling companies to bundle its connectivity and eSIM technology with their existing products – Manet will now be able to revolutionise this service further, by elevating this offering through an app version.
With Truphone, guests will be able to download the Manet app to their own devices and be seamlessly connected at the touch of a button.
In 2018, Truphone launched the world’s first end-user app to offer global connectivity for eSIM-enabled smartphones. Today, Truphone Connect has evolved into a powerful connectivity management platform, allowing Truphone partners to integrate similar functionality in their own apps, utilising any distribution channel and connecting any device, whether this is a smartphone application or a custom-made device.

Manet Mobile Solutions (MMS) was born in Rome in 2015 from a project launched and developed by five young entrepreneurs: Antonio Calia, Marco Barbato, Luca Liparulo, Marco Maisto and Andrea Proietti.
The developed solution, Manet, is a fully customizable digital concierge, available via an App or a physical Device, which accompanies guests before, during and after their stay. The App allows guests to access all the hotel’s information and ancillary services, and to directly book them. The App also includes tourist guides, food and beverage options and other useful travel tips.
At the same time, the App allows guests to remotely check-in and check-out, reducing physical interaction with staff. Manet Device offers guests all the App benefits, as well as the opportunity to make free worldwide unlimited calls, to have free unlimited Internet connectivity, hotspot for connecting their personal devices, audioguides for all main sights of the destination and more.
