HMD Global Launches Global Roaming for Enterprises

HMD Global has announced HMD Connect Pro, a global roaming connectivity solution for enterprise use as well as IoT deployments. In March, the company unveiled HMD Connect, a consumer-focused roaming service designed to keep customers in control of their data plans around the world.

The move is part of HMD Global’s business transformation into a holistic mobile devices and services company. The company offers a total of 20 Nokia phones as part of its Android Enterprise Recommended portfolio and will aim to further grow in the enterprise space with this new offering.

HMD Connect Pro offers an easier way for businesses to keep their smartphones and other devices connected across the globe. Businesses can obtain SIM cards in bulk, simplify their operations for their various roaming connectivity needs, and benefit from a centralized management console. The browser-based centralized management console gives IT professionals complete control over their HMD Connect Pro SIM fleet. They can also activate and suspend any SIM with just a simple click without any need for user engagement.

HMD Connect Pro offers global coverage with over 600 networks in over 160 countries and flexible pay-as-you-go roaming. The service will be available for enterprises and enterprise resellers from October 2020 starting with Australia, Finland, France, Indonesia, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, and US.
