Google Fi’s is giving a free year of YouTube Premium for Unlimited Plus subscribers

With YouTube Premium, you can use YouTube and YouTube Music to watch, download, and listen to videos and music ad-free, offline, and in the background.
- Your one year of YouTube Premium ends one calendar year from the date that you start YouTube Premium on Google Fi.
- At the end of one year, your subscription automatically renews into an individual monthly YouTube Premium subscription at its regular price until you cancel YouTube Premium.
- Once you start your year of YouTube Premium on Google Fi, you or your Google Fi group owner can opt out of the renewal or cancel your subscription at any time.
Change your YouTube Premium renewal google fi unlimited
When your year of YouTube Premium on Fi is over, your subscription automatically renews as an individual monthly YouTube Premium subscription at the regular rate. You can find your Youtube Premium subscription on your monthly Fi bill.
Fi members and plan managers can deactivate or reactivate this renewal selection:
- On your device, go to fi.google.com/account#plan.
- Select a Fi member’s profile.
- In the “Devices & Subscriptions” list, select YouTube Premium.
- Select Do not renew or Renew at the end of your year.
When you change your renewal selection, you don’t affect the terms of your year of YouTube Premium.
Fi members can deactivate their own renewal, but can’t reactivate renewals. Fi plan managers can deactivate or reactivate renewals for plan members.
Check your eligibility
Fi subscribers on the Unlimited Plus plan are eligible for this offer. Subscribers must maintain active service on Unlimited Plus over the course of the year.
You can’t start your year of YouTube Premium on Fi if:
- You’re under the age of 13.
- You’re on a Google Workspace account that has YouTube blocked.

Start your year of YouTube Premium on Fi
Each member must start their year of YouTube Premium on Fi themselves.
To start your year of YouTube Premium on Fi:
- On your device, go to fi.google.com/account#plan.
- Go to your Member Profile.
- In the “Devices & Subscriptions” list, select YouTube Premium.
- Select Get started.
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
Once you start your year of YouTube Premium on Fi, you can manage your YouTube Premium access at fi.google.com/account#plan
End your YouTube Premium subscription google fi unlimited
To end your year of YouTube Premium on Fi, contact Fi support. When you end your year, you give up the time you have left in your year of YouTube Premium.
Of course, there is a slight “catch,” if you want to call it that: Google Fi’s Unlimited Plus plan is its most expensive, ranging from $65 / month for one person or $40 / month for families of up to four to six people. Yet a free year of YouTube Premium, which comes bundled with access to YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Kids, offline downloads and listening, and more, could possibly balance things out.
It’s just one of many new perks it seems Google’s been introducing recently to lure people into buying their services and products. Last year, for example, the company announced Google Fi subscribers can get $5 off their monthly plan when they buy the then-brand-new Pixel Pass subscription.
In some ways, Pixel Pass is similar to Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program and Apple One services bundle. Subscribers can pay for their Pixel phone in monthly installments and get upgrades after two years, for example. They can also get free access to YouTube Premium, 200GB of Google One cloud storage, Google Play Pass, YouTube Music Premium, and more. google fi unlimited
