EgyptAir to provide Wifi, roaming services on Boeing 787-9

Egypt Air will provide Internet and roaming services on its fleet of B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft to destinations in Europe, the US and Asia.

Besides the WiFi and the Live TV service, which features two news channels, Euro News and Sky News, customers traveling on Egypt Air’s Dreamliner can use mobile phone services such as calls and data services and send and receive SMS messages.

Egypt Air is always keen to develop the services it provides to its customers, especially those that provide advanced technology and offer more entertainment to its customers, it said in a statement.

Telecommunications services are an increasingly important aspect of the travel experience of airline customers.
