The company has just revealed the prices of its mobile and fixed services, as well as the packages, after explaining its strategy. Valentin Popoviciu, executive director in Portugal and Chief Strategy & Operating Officer of Digi Communications, invited customers to try out the services, without any commitments, until December 31st. So far, the company has 3,000 customers trying out the fixed network and 6,000 on the mobile network.

The company’s offering to the Portuguese market was detailed at the presentation taking place in Lisbon, with an indication of the packages and prices for mobile, fixed and TV services. Subscriptions will open tomorrow on the company’s website, which is currently being redesigned.

For mobile services, prices start at €5 for those with three or more numbers and rise to 7 euros for those with just one number, with unlimited mobile data and unlimited national calls.

digi mobileThe company’s strategy is “freedom of choice” and therefore the minimum loyalty period is three months for fixed broadband and fiber, with the possibility of adding other services to the package. This is where DIGI wants to distinguish itself from other operators, where the most common contracts have a loyalty period of 24 months and although there are options of shorter duration, they end up being more expensive for customers.

There are also other mobile network tariffs, with limited traffic, starting at 50 GB and unlimited calls for 4 euros per month and reaching 200 GB per month, with unlimited calls, for 9 euros per month. Data is accumulated if not used and the 200 GB package includes 400 minutes of international calls.

In fixed service, the company is expanding its fiber network and already has a 1 GB offer for 10 euros per month, but later this year it wants to move forward with a 10 Gbps offer for 15 euros per month, with Wi-Fi7.

In the TV and landline packages, DIGI Portugal executives say that there are more than 60 channels on offer on DIGI TV, but there are still some limitations, specifically in the sports channels and also in the general channels, where they have already guaranteed TVI but not yet SIC. The price starts at 12 euros per month and for now, the company has a basic box, which in the coming weeks will allow recording, pausing, and browsing, promising to soon integrate an Android box that is still being worked on with Google to finalize the configurations.

Landlines cost 1 euro, and there are also combined packages that combine landline and mobile networks. In this case, you can have 1 GB of fiber network with 50 GB of mobile with unlimited calls and 60 TV channels, for a price of 26 euros.

Other combined packages start from 1 GB of fiber and 100 GB of unlimited calls, also with 60 channels, for 27 euros, rising to 34 euros for 1 GB of fiber and two cards with unlimited mobile data and 60 TV channels.
