As regards the charges applied to calls and mobile data made by subscribers in the United Kingdom, ” Brexit” will not affect the prices charged by the Digi operator. In 2021, Digi Mobil users will also benefit from international calling and roaming prices at the same level as for other EEA and EU destinations , as long as European or national authorities do not make other recommendations to mobile operators. The decision also applies to users visiting / transiting Gibraltar.

After adopting the “Roam it like at home” principle, Digi Mobil received the agreement of the national telecommunications regulatory authority, ANCOM, to apply a sustainability surcharge to the tariffs applied to calls and mobile data, on the Romanian territory, according to the European provisions in force . The new tariff conditions applied for 12 months were approved by ANCOM on July 1, 2020, allowing the operator to recover part of the costs generated by the provision of roaming services, in accordance with its position on the European market and the size of its mobile electronic communications operations. Basically, through the tariffs announced from January 1, 2021, Digi Mobil will use more advantageous prices for customers compared to the ceilings approved by ANCOM, in the summer of 2020.
