Beeline introduces multi-Sim service
Russian operator Beeline has introduced the new service Single Number, allowing customers to use the same number on several devices supporting eSIMs. For example, calls can be accepted on a smartwatch even when the smartphone is left at home. Beeline multi-Sim
“Single Number” will give you the opportunity to stay in touch on your usual number, even if you don’t have your main phone with you. For example, you can fully communicate during your morning run by wearing an eSIM-enabled smartwatch while leaving your smartphone at home. The current package of communication services is divided between the main and additional means of communication; it can be spent on any of the devices.
“It is now possible to issue an additional one for the client’s existing SIM card – with an identical subscriber number. Such an eSIM can be installed in a smartwatch, tablet or in a backup smartphone, after which the device will independently register in the operator’s network and will work independently of the phone with the main SIM,” the Beeline press service explains the principle of operation of the service.
The service is already available to mobile operator clients from Moscow and the Moscow region. You can connect to “Single Number” directly from the Beeline mobile application. Beeline multi-Sim
Beeline leads in speed and continuity of mobile Internet in the Moscow metro
According to a study by the Telecom Daily agency, for the third year in a row, Beeline occupies a leading position in terms of the average speed of downloading content in the Moscow metro tunnels, as well as in terms of service continuity. This parameter is especially important when passengers travel in the subway, as it indicates the stability and reliability of the operator’s service.
This year, Beeline’s average content download speed during train movement was 125.2 Mbit/s, which is 25% more than last year. At the same time, the speed at the stations reaches an average of 161 Mbit/s. Such indicators may be sufficient for downloading heavy files in high resolution and exchanging video messages or photos in instant messengers and social networks.
