AT&T Trade-in Program

When you trade in an eligible smartphone in good working condition within 30 days of activating your new smartphone, you may be eligible to receive bill credits associated with the particular device offer over the term of your installment agreement (30 months). How does the AT&T Trade-in Program work? at&t trade in

1. Learn your device’s value

Select your device model and answer a few questions to receive your trade-in quote.

2. Send your trade-in to AT&T

AT&T will send you prepaid shipping supplies so you can send in your device at no cost.

3. Get an AT&T Device Offer or Promotional Card

The device offers monthly bill credits or receives an AT&T promotional card by mail. Promotional cards can be used towards accessories or to make a bill payment both online and at your local AT&T store. att trade in value

Trade in an eligible smartphone in good working condition. Port-in of a new line from an eligible third-party carrier to receive up to $700 off on an eligible smartphone For a new line without port-in the maximum credit will be $500.

You may use the ATT Trade in value in any combination to: at&t trade in

  • Purchase AT&T devices and accessories
  • Apply a service payment to your AT&T account using an AT&T Promotion Card
  • Apply the value towards a next-down payment using an AT&T Promotion Card
  • Donate Cell Phones for Soldiers charity

AT&T constantly monitors the industry to offer competitive Trade-in values – taking into consideration the device’s make, model, and condition. If the device shows signs of wear it will still be accepted and value adjusted accordingly. att trade in value

If you are using our online process, your device is mailed in, and once the processing center confirms the value of your device, an AT&T Promotion Card will be mailed to your address on file. You must ship your old device within thirty (30) days of the day you accept the Trade-in value offered. If you fail to send your device within 30 days it may result in a reduced value for your device.

Note: Credits start within 3 bills after the trade-in of the eligible smartphone is completed and will be applied in equal amounts (up to $33.34 each) over 30 monthly installments. You will receive catch-up credits once bill credits start. Credit will not exceed the lower of the device cost or max bill credit value of the purchased new smartphone. (For example, If the device cost is $850, the max credit will be $700). Other installment options may be available and credit will be applied in equal amounts over the term of the installment. att trade in value
