AIDA Cruises’ innovative approach
AIDA Cruises is well-known for its innovative approach to cruising, offering a relaxed and casual atmosphere on board, with a wide range of activities and entertainment options. The company’s focus is on creating a fun and memorable experience for its guests, with a focus on sustainability and environmental protection.
One of the initiatives that AIDA Cruises has taken to enhance the guest experience is its partnership with Dermalog, a leading biometrics company. Dermalog provides AIDA Cruises with biometric identification solutions, allowing the company to offer a faster and more secure check-in process for its guests.
With the implementation of Dermalog’s biometric solutions, guests can now use their facial recognition to check-in, eliminating the need for traditional check-in procedures such as filling out forms or showing passport and ID. This not only saves time but also enhances the overall guest experience by providing a more seamless check-in process.
In addition, the biometric solutions provided by Dermalog also improve the security on board, as the facial recognition technology can be used to identify individuals who are not authorized to be on board. This helps to ensure the safety and security of guests and crew members.
Moreover, the biometric solutions provided by Dermalog are fully compliant with privacy regulations and are designed to protect the personal data of guests. The data collected is used solely for the purpose of providing the biometric check-in service, and is stored securely by the company.
In conclusion, AIDA Cruises’ partnership with Dermalog has allowed the company to offer a faster, more secure and more convenient check-in process for its guests, while also enhancing the overall guest experience. The biometric solutions provided by Dermalog are a testament to the company’s commitment to innovation and the use of technology to enhance the cruising experience.
Apart from AIDA cruise ships, DERMALOG’s temperature check has already been rolled out in more than 60 countries. The “Made in Germany” system provides secure access to hospitals, retail stores, offices, manufacturing halls, sports grounds, events, hotels, banks and government buildings.
