Booking Flights

Booking a flight on Aeromexico is easy, whether booking directly through their website or using a third-party travel site. Here are some tips for finding and booking Aeromexico flights:

  • Use the Aeromexico website or mobile app – This is the best way to view all available Aeromexico flights and current fares. You can search by destination, departure city, dates, cabin class, and more. Signing up for an account allows you to save booking information and access special deals.

  • Check third-party sites – Sites like Expedia, Orbitz, and Kayak also sell Aeromexico flights. This allows you to compare fares across different airlines. Be sure to check Aeromexico directly, though, as they may offer sales not listed on third-party sites.

  • Be flexible with dates and airports – Fares can vary drastically depending on travel dates and departure airports. Try searching a few different date ranges and nearby airports to find the best deal. Mid-week flights are generally cheaper than weekends.

  • Book early for the lowest fares – Prices usually start high when flights are first released, then drop as the departure date approaches. Booking 6-8 weeks in advance often provides the best fares.

  • Use the “Best Fare Finder” calendar – Aeromexico’s booking tool shows a calendar view of fares so you can easily spot the cheapest travel dates.

  • Check both one-way and roundtrip fares – Sometimes two one-way tickets are cheaper than a roundtrip. Play around with multiple bookings to optimize pricing.

  • Sign up for fare alerts – You can get notifications when discounts are available for your desired routes. Act quickly once you receive an alert.

  • Consider nearby cities – If your destination has multiple airports, check fares into each one. Flying into a smaller regional airport can save money.

  • Use flight + hotel packages – Booking flights and hotels together often reduces the overall cost. Aeromexico partners with resorts and hotels for package deals.

  • Pay with Mexican pesos – On the Mexico site Aeromexico.mx, fares may be cheaper when paying in pesos rather than other currencies.
