Customers simply need to download the TIMpersonal app to quickly pay for the parking ticket without having to use credit or debit cards, or having to access streetside payment terminals.

The mobile ticketing service consists in the possibility of buying the bus or metro ticket and paying for the parking of the car or the entrance to the restricted traffic areas, through the prepaid credit available on the customer’s telephone line or by charging the account telephone, through the following two methods:

1. by sending an SMS to the dedicated short number listed on www.tim.it/mobile-ticketing ;
2. using the TIMpersonal app, which graphically guides the customer towards the purchase of the various tickets made available by TIM .

• Mobile ticketing is a useful and easy to use service: no credit card is required.
• The cost of the ticket is charged to a telephone account if you are a customer subscribed to TIM’s mobile services or to prepaid credit if you have a Rechargeable SIM. The cost of the request is always added to the cost of the ticket.
• The cost of the digital ticket may differ from the paper one and in case of insufficient credit on the Rechargeable SIM, the requested electronic ticket will not be available for purchase and therefore will not be sent to the customer.
• The reply SMS that the customer receives contains the details of the SMS ticket (validity, duration, terms of use). The validation of the SMS ticket is contextual to the purchase, it is therefore not necessary to confirm its validity as it happens with paper tickets that require authentication.
• For the verification operations it will be sufficient to show the SMS received to the control and, for the validity of the same, the time indicated on the ticket received via SMS will prevail.
