How is an eSIM better than a regular one?

eSIM technology is supported by 2018 and later released iPhones, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer models from this manufacturer, Google Pixel and the latest Sony phones. When changing a physical card to an eSIM, a one-time exchange fee is applied, which amounts to EUR 1.

Currently, eSIM and Mobile-ID solutions are incompatible – the service does not work, because the operation of mobile signature is tied to a special SIM card that has certificates for authentication and signing. There is currently no solution on the market to support Mobile-ID with eSIM.
